Last updated: June 2026. This page explains how to delete data that iGCSocial, operated by iGuides Canada ("we", "us"), stores on your behalf, including data obtained through connected platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Threads.
iGCSocial is a social media management platform. When you connect a social account, we store the access tokens and account identifiers needed to publish on your behalf (encrypted at rest), along with the content you create in the platform — posts, captions, media, campaigns, and brand profiles. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.
If you use the client portal, you can remove the data tied to one connected social account yourself at any time:
Revoking immediately deletes that account's stored access tokens. You can also remove iGCSocial's access from the platform's own settings — for Facebook, visit Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites and remove iGCSocial. If you manage accounts through our team rather than the portal, use Option 2 below.
To request deletion of all personal information we hold about you, including your account and any connected platform data, email us at social@iguides.ca from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Data deletion request".
We will:
We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). A limited audit record of the request itself may be retained where required for security or legal obligations.
Questions about deleting your data can be sent to social@iguides.ca.
